Fierce Self-Compassion: Cultivating the Heart of a Warrior

To clearly see the difficulties of our lives takes courage. To act amidst suffering takes guts. Self-compassion, the ability to act to alleviate suffering, is an essential skill that can be cultivated through deliberate practice. While tender self-compassion focuses on being with our pain, fierce self-compassion harnesses the energy to move towards change. Over the course of 5 weeks, this workshop series will explore the characteristics of fierce self-compassion. Each session will include a short talk and discussion, guided meditation, and a question & answer period. The format is interactive and focused on skills building.

This series can be done on its own or as a follow up to the Strong Back, Soft Front: Cultivating Self Compassion course.
